Well done completing another SLJ activity! That is a great photo of Tāne Mahuta. Tree's are pretty cool, don't you think? They have many purposes like you said, they provide shade from the sun, filter Carbon Dioxide from the air and produce Oxygen in its place, they are good for the soil, prevent erosion which can cause flooding and are the homes of many wildlife animals. It pleases me you are interested in visiting this particular Kauri tree, Tāne Mahuta. Do you have a favourite tree? I love fruit trees because they gift me with tasty fruits that I can eat!
