Great work completing another SLJ activity. You've given us two great points to think about why logging should be allowed! I'm curious to know, in #1— did you mean to write.. "Logging should be allowed unless they *don't* replace the tree"? If so, I completely agree with you. It's good to know that logging is a continuous process of growing the trees very tall until they're ready to be cut down, and then planting new seedlings to grow tall. This process is repeated so the companies who harvest the trees always have trees to harvest throughout the year. You have also make a good second point— Logging is important because it provides revenue (money/income) for the workers, and also provides us with the wood to use for building furniture, and even building houses! Nice work thinking outside the box!
