This post is about a bird called Black Robin this post is for SLJ hope you enjoy.
Kia Ora Koshik,
ReplyDeleteGreat work completing another SLJ activity. What a great bird you have selected! The Black Robin is a small very fluffy bird with a cute little tiny beak. I've never had the chance to see the Black Robin in person before. I hear there are only about 250 left in New Zealand, which is not many at all. You said the Black Robin is endangered because there are only a small number of them left, 'because people are killing it', do you know why exactly people are killing it? I'm curious to know if other animals are killing the Black Robins too?
What do you mean when you write, 'The lower branches?'. Do you mean that the Black Robins eat branches or leaves on the ground floor? Or maybe they forage for bugs within these leaves fallen from the trees?
I'd love to hear more about your thoughts on the Black Robin, what made you choose this particular bird? I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog entries. Keep up the great blogging!
Thanks,
Jordan
